The North Wales Borderlands Partnership has appointed Weber Shandwick North to raise its profile as an exciting, accessible holiday destination within the UK.

Focusing on outdoor activities and events that the Flintshire, Wrexham and rural Denbighshire areas have to offer, along with the wide variety of locally produced food from the region, the campaign will be handled by Weber Shandwick North’s Travel and Tourism team who already work with clients such as QHotels, Holiday Inn and Visit Llandudno.

The North Wales Borderlands Partnership said of Weber Shandwick North’s pitch for the account: “We were very pleased with the high standard of the proposal and the detail that was evident in their research. We feel that Weber Shandwick North have a clear understanding of our key messages and a great vision for promoting the area.”

Weber Shandwick North MD Jo Leah meanwhile added: “This is a great opportunity for us to further develop our travel portfolio and increase our presence in North Wales; which is an area the team have a definite affinity with.”
