North Star to handle media account for National Galleries of Scotland 2011 season

The National Galleries of Scotland has tasked Edinburgh media agency North Star with handling its 2011 season of summer exhibitions, as well as the re-opening of the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in November.

Following a three-way pitch with incumbent Feather Brooksbank and Media Shop, North Star will work on the placement of several multi-media campaign set to roll out this year, including TV, online, press and outdoor to promote exhibitions at the Scottish National Gallery, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.

Nick Stewart, managing director of North Star, commented: “This is a fantastic win for us. They were really interesting and diverse briefs and they’re a great client to work with – we’re delighted to be working with them.”
