npower launches integrated campaign for 50% cashback scheme

Electricity and gas supplier npower has launched an integrated communications campaign to celebrate the one year anniversary of its hometeam 50 boiler and central heating care product which offers customers 50% cashback if they don’t call out npower during their 12 month care plan.

The campaign, which comprises PR, outdoor, radio, e-marketing and direct mail, brings to life the story of customers receiving their cashback this month, with testimonials and the strapline “What will you spend your cashback on?”

The campaign also sees npower champion its hometeam engineers, with representatives from each region profiled on the microsite and careers profiles featured in the employment pages of local newspapers.

hometeam 50 manager Emily Stagg commented: “hometeam 50 is all about offering consumers a reliable, trusted service that sees us sharing rewards with our customers. As part of this, we want to put a human face to the brand, which is where our engineers come in.”
