Cheltenham agency TDA has designed a new guide for The National Trust aimed at people who are thinking about leaving a gift to the charity in their will.

TDA said the guide has been designed to have a long shelf life, "with a strong focus on quality", so that potential donors keep it for future reference.

The agency was responsible for the creative, copy and design of the guide, which provides all the information people need to know about leaving a legacy in their will.

"We've worked hard to make this new guide feel personal to every supporter who receives a copy," said Corinne LeLoup, senior account director at TDA.

"Essentially, this is an invitation to start a journey with National Trust, not just a one-off donation request, so there's a subtle difference in the feelings we want to evoke. The messages we've focused on are uplifting and inspirational, as our biggest priority here is to engage with supporters."

The guide will be sent out to supporters and professional advisers and handed out at National Trust legacy events.
