Glide Utilities hires Big Cat for social media campaign

Glide Utilities has appointed the Big Cat Group to run a social media campaign aimed at students living in shared accommodation.

The energy and telecomms company wants to raise awareness of the way it divides bills for flatsharers so they only pay for what they owe.

Birmingham-based Big Cat has devised a campaign encouraging students to upload stories about their 'Housemates from Hell'.

It is running throughout the final university semester and will target students looking into accommodation for the next academic year.

James Villarreal, CEO of Glide said: “2011 will see a new dawn for Glide. With a new brand and website launching imminently and a clear new focus, we felt it an opportune time to push our brand through additional platforms such as social media."
