Specsavers has launched a new TV ad showing astronauts coming back to earth with a bump after arriving at Luton instead of Houston.

'Shuttle', which broke yesterday, is another product of Specsavers' in-house creative team and was directed by Jeff Stark.

It shows sheepish astronauts sidling up up to holidaymakers at Luton Airport's baggage carousel after getting their coordinates all wrong.

The ad promotes a two for one offer on spectacles and, as ever, finishes with the optician's trademark line: "Should've gone to Specsavers".

Media buying has been handled by MEC.
