Hackers claiming to be behind gaining access to Sony’s Playstation Network earlier this month have said they have gained the credit card details of 2.2m customers.

According to The Guardian, the hackers have claimed on underground online forums to have obtained millions of customers details through hacking into the network, which was shut down by Sony over a week after it happened in the middle of April.

Meanwhile, 77 million users of the network have also reported that new fraudulent charges had been made to their credit cards.
