The Metropolitan Police has denied that mobile phone signals will be jammed around Westminster Abbey during tomorrow’s Royal wedding, allowing Tweets to be sent directly from the service.

This morning, reports claims that signal jamming technology would be used throughout the wedding ceremony of Prince William and Kate Middleton to prevent social media being used during the service.

This has apparently been denied by Metropolitan Police, according to a Tweet sent by Christopher Williams, technology correspondent at The Daily Telegraph.
