Samaritans has worked with marketing agency TDA to design a new welcome pack for regular supporters.

The pack aims to reinforce donors' commitment to their regular gift by demonstrating how their continued support makes a real difference to people's lives.

It contains fridge magnets and a letter from 23-year-old Emma, who tried to take her own life at the age of 19 but has since received support from the Samaritans. It is inside an envelope which reads: 'You don't know me, but you may have just saved my life."

Corinne LeLoup, senior account director at TDA, said: "The welcome pack aims to reassure newly recruited regular supporters that they've made the right decision, and to demonstrate how their ongoing personal investment can make such a big difference to the work carried out by Samaritans."
