Zugo’s Deli Café is set to feature in a national TV advertising campaign from next month as Kepak Convenience Foods looks to generate “highest ever levels of consumer awareness” of its hot snacking brand.

Kepak marketing director John Armstrong said of the £1.5m campaign: “Zugo’s Deli Café is already one of the success stories in the UK’s hot snacking market. Not only has the brand broadened the appeal of the hot snacking category, it has also established a strong and loyal consumer base.”

He added: “The national TV campaign will connect with consumers looking for deli-inspired hot snacking products featuring tasty ingredients that are ready to eat in minutes.”

The campaign was created by BJL and is set to reach an estimated nine million consumers, running across trial and satellite channels including ITV, Channels 4 and 5 and Sky Living.

The ad shows a Zugo’s panini on a deli counter before being placed in the deli’s serving hatch. The Panini then emerges from a microwave in an office kitchen with the strapline ‘Deli panini in a ding’.
