Fluid Group, owner of Newcastle design agency Fluid Design Solutions and proprietor of independent bars and coffee houses, is to open its second outlet in the Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth, creating 35 new jobs.

The group is investing £1million in launching Barluga deli which is set out over two floors with a combined footprint of 4,000 square feet and space for 120 covers.

Fluid Group director David King said: “Although we still face challenging times and the overall investment of £1million is a significant one, I am confident that the launch of Barluga Deli is right for us as it shows our commitment to the region by creating new jobs and will be well received in Morpeth.”

Sanderson Arcade manager Debbie Anderson added: “We are delighted that Fluid Group has decided to bring another one of its outlets to Sanderson Arcade.”
