This year’s TV campaign for IRN BRU is set to roll out, featuring an animated Scottish summer adventure.

Continuing the Phenomenal theme, the campaign by The Leith Agency has been animated by Ink Digital, and includes live-action footage throughout, as well as Paulo Nutini track ‘Pencil Full of Lead’.

Jonathan Kemp, commercial director for IRN BRU, commented: "Scots are ever hopeful that they’ll be enjoying months of unbroken sunshine and lazing on the beach each summer, but when the inevitable grey clouds and drizzle come, we still make the best of it and enjoy our summers to the full. With this campaign, IRN BRU wanted to have a laugh and celebrate those phenomenal moments that make Scottish summers so distinctive. We hope it will trigger some good memories and get everyone looking forward to a phenomenal summer this year."

The cardboard cut-out featured in the TV advert, which hits screens from 15 April running through until June, will be a focus of the in-store campaign featuring in shops across Scotland, while social media activity will also include the cut-outs and pictures taken using them being featuring on the IRN BRU Facebook page.
