Atomic PR appoints Carolyn Watt as Europe MD

Atomic PR, the San Francisco-based public relation agency acquired by Huntsworth plc last month, has appointed Carolyn Watt as managing director, Europe: co-director, Global Digital

Atomic is to become part of Grayling, providing Grayling with an enhanced US presence from which to secure global business, and the roll out a web-based analytics application across a global platform offering a leading edge mix of traditional, digital and social media, video and search engine optimisation (SEO) to its current client base.

Atomic co-founder Andy Getsey commented: “We are delighted to welcome Carolyn to the team, she brings with her fantastic experience executing highly creative, digital media campaigns for high profile brands, and will play a key role as we accelerate our global footprint and continue to evolve our integrated digital and traditional services to stay ahead of the curve.”

Watt was previously founder and managing director of Yabber, Profero's social marketing division and the former head of SEO, digital PR and social marketing at WPP's Mindshare where she set up the SEO and earned media division incorporating online brand positioning, SMO (social media optimisation), analytics and tracking technologies as well as the design and creation of content.
