Lesley Clarke, recently promoted to vice-president international client services at Weber Shandwick, has been elected chairman of the Public Relations Consultants Association (PCRA) in Scotland.

Clarke will take over from Cameron Grant, managing director of 3X1 Public Relations, and will aim to bring together PR practitioners from across the country.

“I look forward to the challenges this role will present and working with other industry professionals to tackle issues and share knowledge to drive forward PR standards. I am passionate about raising the bar for our industry in Scotland and feel that this position with the PRCA will allow me to play a big part in this. It is a huge honour to be chosen as the chairman for the organisation,” commented Clarke.

The PRCA has seven regional groups including Scotland, including the Midlands, South East and East Anglia, South-West and Wales, Yorkshire & Humberside, North-West England and Northern Ireland.
