Mediacom Edinburgh digital director Paterson to depart

Rory Paterson is to leave his role as digital director at Mediacom Edinburgh having recently founded his own consultancy Ampelm.

Paterson, who has spent six years at the company will run his own digital consultancy, which he said, will aim to help companies deliver their objectives through an improve digital strategy.

He will continue to work with Mediacom Edinburgh on a part-time consultative basis, and will also take up a non-executive board position at Jelly Media Technologies.

Paterson joined the agency in 2005 as its first digital manager, growing the team to employ 10 digital specialists who manage over 20 % of the agency’s media billings.

Meanwhile, Mediacom Edinburgh is one of 25 UK agencies to be awarded the IPA Gold CPD accolade, the third year running that the agency has attained the status.
