Hicksville acquired by Bezier

Retail marketing agency Bezier has acquired design studio Hicksville, adding to its creative offering within the retail sector.

Hicksville, founded in Edinburgh before relocating to its current base in London, has worked on clients including Sony Pictures, Paramount, Disney, Universal and Warner Music and as a result of the acquisition Bezier is to set up a dedicated entertainment division headed up by Hicksville founder Rennie Mitchell.

Mitchell said of the new set-up: “With the experience and expertise of the mighty Bezier behind us, Hicksville can focus entirely on its core strengths. With an unrelenting dedication to creativity and fantastic client rapport, I can’t wait to witness the impact of this merger on future entertainment campaigns.”

Trevor O’Reilly of Bezier, which represents over 60 brands and retailers, added: “Bezier’s existing entertainment clients will have direct access to the Hicksville’s unparalleled creative approach. We are delighted that Hicksville are joining us and confident that the acquisition will allow us to deliver great service to our clients.”
