Airport advertising company JCDecaux Airport has expanded its Scottish sales division having strengthened its business development sales team.

Paul McMahon has joined from News International where he was head of business development Scotland, reporting into Jacqueline McCormick, commercial director of JCDecaux Airport.

He joins alongside Bernadette Nicol who was previously head of advertising for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, having also held the role of sales director for Scottish Business Insider and senior advertising manager at the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail.

Nicol takes on the role of business development manager having joined JCDecaux Airport in August.

McCormick said, “Our expanding team will give our clients increased access to the exciting new opportunities at our Scottish airports following the extensive refurbishment at Edinburgh Airport, upcoming refurbishment works at Glasgow Airport and the new runway extension at Aberdeen Airport opening in conjunction with the launch of the Trump Development in 2012. Our advertising is more impactful than ever with the introduction of new digital and spectacular sites that reach upmarket audiences when they are in the right mindset to interact.”
