STV Jobs site advertises on arch rival S1 Jobs thanks to Google AdSense
The dangers of opening your site to the likes of Google AdSense was clearly demonstrated today on Scottish website S1Jobs.
There, amongst the carefully crafted corporate messages,which stated its market leading position was an ad for arch rival STV Jobs.
STV Jobs even managed to get an ad into a S1 section entitled 'Why we're No1' which highlighted some impressive traffic stats. No doubt it generated an abundance of click throughs for STV Jobs as a result.
An STV Jobs spokesman said the ads finding their way on to the S1 site was simply a 'quirk' of online advertising.
