The founder of Facebook must be wondering what he has got himself into. Now a comic book with 'Mark Zuckerberg' cast as the lead character on Page one has sold out - and another publication is planned.

" It's a very long stretch to see Zuckerberg, who probably weighs less than 160 pounds, as a superhero," said one commentator.

But Bluewater Productions is not your usual comic publisher. The firm has is producing a Charlie Sheen comic book "Infamous" and Its book on Kate Middleton and Prince William got a lengthy plug on the NBC "Today" show.

The comic publisher, based in Washington state , realised there was lot of stuff out there on how Facebook got where it is today, hence its decision to got for the business superhero. The reaction astonished them. All 7,000 copies of the Zuckerberg comic, priced at $6.99, flew off the shelves on its first day in late February. Darren Davis, CEO of Bluewater, said, "We were surprised. I really didn't think it would do well, to be honest."Comic writer Jerome Maida told the San Jose Mercury News there was "a powerful irony" behind Zuckerberg's appeal."You have this person who is really socially inept, and as a result of that, as a result of his feeling ostracised, he channels that and creates something that changes how people socially interact, all across the world, forever," Maida said.Facebook declined to comment. But a sequel is on the way for the new superhero: Bluewater plans a full graphic novel on his life due out in September. Bluewater is now even considering other business figures. A Bill Gates comic could be next, Davis said.
