Three marketing services agencies praised at Scotland’s Best Workplaces Awards
Three marketing services agencies were named in the top 25 places to work in Scotland at last night’s Scotland’s Best Workplaces Awards, with Material Marketing and Communications taking the top prize.
PR agencies The Big Partnership Group and Weber Shandwick finished 16th and 18th respectively at the awards, which were organised by The Herald and held in Glasgow hotel Radisson Blu. The host for the evening was BBC Radio Scotland presenter Shereen Nanjiani.
John McClelland, the chairman of Skills Development Scotland, commented : “We are delighted to be supporting the first-ever Scotland’s Best Workplaces Awards. Creating a great environment for people to work in has proved to have a dramatic effect on organisational performance and there is much we can learn from this first, impressive cohort of winners.”
Congratulating the winners he added: “Material Marketing and Communications demonstrated passion, rigour and focus in developing their people and richly deserve tonight’s recognition.”
