It is understood that two directors from Glasgow advertising agency The Bridge have been made redundant as part of a restructure process.

Frank Stubbs, creative director and Margaret Byrnes, account director (both pictured on the right), who were involved with the management buyout of the agency in 2009 alongside fellow directors David Watson and Alan Clarke, have agreed to leave the business.

It is understood that Byrnes has already left the agency, while Stubbs will depart next week, both having worked at The Bridge for over a decade.

The creative department will now be led by senior creative Ali Taylor and Simon Parker following the departure of Stubbs, however no other member of staff are believed to have been made redundant.

Both are thought to have accepted their redundancy offers, which will mean that the agency will avoid a repeat of the departure of former director Liz O’Connor, who was made redundant from the agency by the previous management.

At the time of writing no one at The Bridge could be reached for comment.
