True North has created a new brand identity for the Holker Group, a diverse range of businesses run from the Holker Estate in Cumbria.

The group's business interests include Cartmel racecourse, Holker Hall & Gardens, Burlington Stone, three holiday parks, an estate agent's and a house building company.

True North's brief was to create a unifying Holker Group identity for the first time, and create the brand identity for each of the individual companies.

The Manchester agency's creative director, Ady Bibby, said: "When creating this new brand identity, the diversity of the businesses and the heritage of the Holker Estate proved to be a real challenge. But as we engaged with these businesses, their audiences and their stakeholders we found a unifying ambition, a huge amount of inherent creativity and also great integrity.

"We have managed to reveal these personality traits in the overarching identity and in the look and feel of all parts of the Group's offer."

Holker Group chief executive, Duncan Peake, added: "This has been an extremely well-considered exercise to ensure that our aims for growth and our future ambitions are fully supported."
