CBJWT tasked with aiding Jersey Telecom transformation strategy

Telecommunications company Jersey Telecom is set to begin a marketing promotions campaign later this year having appointed CheethamBell JWT (CBJWT) as its through-the-line advertising agency.

Following a two-way pitch, the Manchester creative agency has been appointed to create a multi-platform brand strategy having already begun to review all aspects of the brand. This will include marketing communications across retail, press, outdoor, digital and TV, working across the group’s consumer brand portfolio for mobile, broadband and fixed line, as well as its Global Enterprise and wholesale portfolio of products and solutions.

The company also operates in Guernsey under the name ‘Wave Telecom’ and services the growing number of large-scale companies moving to the Channel Islands to enjoy its business tax breaks.

Tamara O’Brien, head of marketing for Jersey Telecom & Wave Telecom, commented: “The Telecom’s industry is an exciting place for brands to be at the moment with Jersey Telecom leading the field in many areas. Jersey Telecom has embarked on a five-year growth plan which is aims to deliver through a mixture of next generation network investment, wholesale, partnerships and acquisitions, with CBJWT tasked with helping deliver this transformation.
