Brand engagement agency RPM has created the E.ON Energy Fit Experience, an event designed to demonstrate and encourage "easily achievable" energy savings in the home.

The touring event ties into E.ON's sponsorship of the FA Cup, and gives families the opportunity to have their photo taken with the trophy and win FA Cup-themed prizes while learning about energy saving.

Piggybacking on the football theme further is 'The Big Boil' kettle, which sits at the centre of the event and illustrates the number of kettles that are turned on during half time.

Visitors will also get to test their goalkeeping reactions in an 'energy saves' game, meet FA Cup legends and enter a bespoke commentary booth where they can try their hand at being the next John Motson.

E.ON will promote the 'Experience' by sending DM to 7,000 of its customers in London, Nottingham, Sheffield, Manchester and Birmingham.

Phil Boas, Head of Sponsorship at E.ON, said: “Consumers are constantly told to act responsibly and to save energy but many people simply don’t understand what they need to do to make this happen. We want to give them the tools and the advice they need in order to save on their energy bills. We tasked RPM with devising a creative and different approach this year that incorporated our FA Cup sponsorship.”
