The dog was a star on the social network as he trained from puppyhood to help disabled people. Now he's found his place . .

Now, in a story to touch an ad man's heart, he and Sam Farr, a 23-year-old Marine, paralysed in a car accident while he was on duty, have become permanent buddies.

Sam, a quadriplegic, had been looking for a service dog and when animal workers brought Noble along to Sam's hospital in Georgia, the two hit it off right away. Sam said, “He jumped straight in my lap and started licking me in the face."

Sam is a Facebook fan himself but he had no idea of Noble's fame until the two were "official". Then the animal people broke the news that his new friend was a star. You can see Noble in action and follow his whole story on the Milk-bone website. Already he and Sam, back home in Oceanside, California, are going everywhere together and Sam has promised to keep Noble's 34,000 fans "in the loop."

Only a few weeks into the relationship, Farr says Noble knows when he’s feeling bad. “He’ll come to my room and lay his head in the bed next to me and make sure I’m doing OK.”
