Connect sails off with luxury boat brief from Numarine

Midlands marketing communications agency Connect Group has been appointed by a luxury boat builder to reposition its brand.

Istanbul-based Numarine has appointed Connect to develop a full communications strategy. The Wolverhampton-based agency’s work will encompass new brand guidelines, digital communications, dealer advertising and support materials, PR and exhibition collateral.

Numarine was established in 2002, by Omer Malaz. The company has invested heavily in new plant and technology, and today makes some of the most technologically advanced and luxurious boats on the market. There are currently eight models in the range from 55ft to 102ft. A 130ft model is currently under development.

The appointment of Connect comes on the back of a new CEO being appointed by Numarine, Patrik von Sydow. He said: “I have worked with Connect before, during my time at Sealine International, and knew that I wanted to work with the group again in my new role.

“We have the right investment in place alongside some of the best designers in the market, and we are looking for Connect to now harness our brand to take us to the next level in our development.”

Rob Hampton, Connect’s MD, said of the brief: “We have many years’ experience working in the luxury goods market and have demonstrated our success by working with brands including Bentley Motors to target high net worth individuals. The brief from Numarine is an exciting one for the whole team.”
