Bananakick recruits UK's first Olympic 2012 inspire programmer

The UK’s first London 2012 inspire programmer James Tabberer has joined BananaKick from Welcome to Yorkshire.

Tabberer has joined the sports and leisure marketing agency in Leeds as a senior account manager have spent the last two years working on Welcome to Yorkshire’s ‘Yorkshire Gold team, where he was responsible for delivering the London 2012 Inspire programme in the region.

The programme aims to offer official recognition for Games inspired projects which allow people to get involved and be part of London 2012. He was also the UK’s first Inspire programmer to be appointed by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport in June 2009.

The Inspire programme offers the opportunity for individuals and organisations to be part of the London 2012 Games and is currently recruiting in the Leeds area.
