Headland has created a new website for popular visitor attraction Alton Towers Resort.

The Leeds and Nottingham-based agency has designed altontowers.com so that visitors can book theme park tickets and hotel rooms before they visit the resort.

When they return they will be able to share their tweets, reviews, YouTube videos and Flickr photos in a section called 'Social Central'.

Groups of more than 10 people visiting Alton Towers will have access to their own password-protected space within Social Central to help them plan their trip in advance.

Headland director Graeme Wilson said: “A visit, the expectation, the buzz and the memories can now build and live on as a shared experience online, bringing visitors even closer to the UK’s greatest theme park brand.”

The agency has been working with Alton Towers for three years.
