The Scottish Government’s former international marketing manager, Karen Kneale, has joined Edinburgh communications agency Story as group account director.

Kneale, with over 15 years’ marketing experience, has previously worked with clients including VisitScotland, Lloyds TSB Scotland, National Museums Scotland, Scottish & Southern Energy, Herriot Watt University and University of Edinburgh Management School. Her new role sees her tasked to help develop and support the client service team and work with the Scottish Government across the Greener and HISMS clusters.

The development of Story’s client service team has also been aided by the promotion of Rosie Torrie to the position of account manager.

Sue Mullen, managing director of Story, said of the new appointments: “We aspire to provide our clients with the best experience possible. It is therefore important to continue to surround our-selves with outstanding people. We are delighted that we can attract, and also keep, such strong talent and both Karen and Rosie are great assets for our clients and our team.”
