Car brand Ford has launched an augmented reality campaign across the nation’s shopping centres, featuring its Grand C-MAX car on JCDecaux’s six sheet screens.

The campaign, by Ogilvy & Mather and digital production company Grand Visual allows the public to interact with the car through the screens.

Movement and hand gestures allow users to interact with the virtual car, while virtual buttons allow the user to decide the colour of their car, open its doors, fold the seats flat and turn it 360 degrees.

The campaign was planned and booked by Mindshare and Kinetic and will run for two weeks at shopping centres across the UK including Bluewater, Greenhithe; Bullring, Birmingham; Metrocentre, Gateshead; St David’s, Cardiff; Princess, East Kilbride and Westfield, Derby.
