Addiction's Harry Potter advert for Dyson voted Chip Shop Ad of the Week

This week’s chosen Chip Shop ‘Ad of the Week’ is a mock campaign for Dyson by Addiction London.

The 'Gryffindor's best kept secret' ad by Addiction was entered into the ‘Invent your own Category’ category, which the agency chose to be ‘Cryptic ads that fans of Harry Potter will love’ to promote Dyson – a client the agency wishes it had, but doesn’t.

The campaign was the most popular advert on The Chip Shop Awards website this week, voted for by users of the site.

Any Chip Shop Award entry from past or present is eligible to vote for, with the highest ranking ad each week being recognised as ‘Ad of the Week’.

The actual awards however, will be handed out this June with an entry deadline of 18 March.

Meanwhile, the Chip Shop Awards anagram competition, which has asked people to send their wittiest anagrams made from Chip Shop judge Sergio Spaccavento’s name, will close today. Last minute anagram entries should be sent to
