Larry King damned his successor Piers Morgan with faint praise last week on the BBC. Now Piers is going to "twang his suspenders"
Morgan tweeted Monday that he had to talk to King ."May have to twang those suspenders to prove how dangerous I really am," Morgan wrote in another tweet.
"Piers Morgan Tonight" is part of CNN's attempt to draw bigger ratings. So far, however, the show "has yet to set the Nielsen world on fire", said the New York Daily News.
"I can't think of many people I'd rather interview than Larry King," Morgan said in a statement, "and I'm sure people will be fascinated by the dynamic between us, for obvious reasons."
