STV to premier The Stevies tonight
STV will tonight host preview screenings of its two winning creative short films, written by Chris Watson of Newhaven and Michael Hart from The Union.
The Stevies will be screened at The Scotsman Cinema within the Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh, and followed two competitions open to all staff of Scottish creative industries where they were asked to submit storyboards for a five minute film.
The winners were then awarded a £5,000 production budget to create their film alongside STV’s production team.
The winning entries which will be screened tonight will be Close your Eyes by Michael Hart and The Dead Ball by Chris Watson.
Mark Gorman, account manager at STV, said: “We were delighted with the quality of response and the whole experience of developing these films has been a great learning experience for everyone involved. We're really looking forward to gauging reaction on Thursday night.”
