Sol set to review global advertising account

Heineken is set to review the global advertising account for its Mexican beer brand Sol.

The UK account was formerly handled principally by The Leith Agency, which held onto its place on the roster following the brand’s move from previous distributor Molson Coors, but has not worked with the brand in recent years,a spokesperson from Heineken UK explained.

The brand is understood to be aiming to established a new global positioning, and is understood to be talking to several ‘network owned’ agencies.

Sol has also worked with Saatchi and Saatchi New Zealand and DDB Argentina on campaigns for each country in recent years.
