Williams named as new marketing director for Travelodge

Former Camelot and Wickes marketer Emma Williams has been appointed at the first marketing director for Travelodge in two year.

Williams has been appointed with the tasked of conveying brand messages and developing the ‘Sleep Tight’ campaign, which is set to return to TV.

Charlie Herbert, e-commerce director has guided the marketing for the brand but the appointment was felt necessary to set bigger growth targets as it looks beyond the recession.

A new TV campaign is also set to roll out, featuring brand ambassadors Mr Sleep and Big Ted, created by Mother.
