Twitter CEO declines to discuss Facebook and Google takeover 'rumour'
Dick Costolo, chief executive of Twitter, has refused to be drawn on links between his company and a mooted acquisition by Google.
Asked about the possibility of Twitter being acquired by Google for $10 billion, Costolo would only say that it was ‘just a rumour’.
Speaking at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Costolo declined to comment as to whether Facebook was also looking to acquire Twitter and also refused to be drawn on how the company made money.
