Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition cover leaked on Twitter
The front cover of the new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition has been revealed hours earlier than expected on Twitter.
The announcement that the cover was to feature Russian model Irina Shayk, was set to me officially announced at Midnight on CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman, but was actually revealed hours earlier.
The show was taped at 11.30am yesterday morning and involved a billboard featuring the cover image, which an employee of Starcom Worldwide tweeted out instantly, ruining the announcement.
Rana Wardlaw, the Starcom Worldwide employee, told the Huffington Post: "They unveiled the billboard for a few minutes to tape it for the Letterman show and then covered it back up…I guess they didn't cover it fast enough."
