John Dean, creative director at Merle is to join Tangible next month as creative manager.

Dean joined the Glasgow advertising agency since October 2008 when he chose to reteam with creative director Simon Anderson, who he had worked alongside at Propaganda.

Anderson left Merle to join the Whole Caboodle in November 2009, leaving Dean in full charge of the creative output of the agency.

It is understood that Dean will join Tangible next month, reporting to creative director Gerry Farrell, and will work on the Dobbie’s account which was picked up from Merle in December, amongst other brand communications activity.

Merle has confirmed that it is seeking to replace Dean in the creative director role.
