A video produced by Time magazine shows we are using the social network more than ever.

The worldwide statistics saw a staggering 510,404 comments recorded every 60 seconds, while the video estimates there are 382,861 'Likes' per minute.

Users fed up of being bombarded with event invites won't be surprised to hear invites hit 74,204 per minute, while there are massive 82,557 status updates every 60 seconds on the social network.

Facebook approves 98,604 friend requests per minute, while 135,849 photos are uploaded per minute. 231,605 personal messages are sent and walls post per minute were calculated at 79,364. Perhaps given Twitter's status as the place to share and discuss news, shared links per minute amounted to 50,304 on Facebook.

Facebook has more than 500 million active users across the world, with the social network estimating users spend over 700 billion minutes per month on the site.
