Noel Young from Reportboston.com continues his series of Piers Morgan mini reviews with an update on the presenters latest CNN performance.

Piers Morgan, wading deep into the political minefield on CNN last night with interviews down the line with Tony Blair ("yes, it is over for Mubarak") and Mitt Romney in the studio. Blair says there will be an election in Egypt but doesn't see the UK and US calling for Mubarak to go now. Good questioning by Piers.

Romney, now looking more than ever like the man to challenge Obama for the presidency, agrees Mubarak is on the way out and that democracy is on the way for Egypt "but we want a permanent democracy, not one hi-jacked by Islamists."

Romney won't commit himself to running for president yet but says his wife is telling him, he has got to run, "She feels that somebody of my experience is needed in the country at a time like this."

He is polite about Sarah Palin, calling her an "extremely powerful and effective voice . . . she'd be great in a primary process. She'd bring attention to the process."

Can he beat her? Romney dodged that one.

Piers is much more impressive with heavyweights like Blair and Romney than he is with showbiz fluff. It will be interesting to see what the ratings are for last night.
