Jean-Phillip Randisi has been appointed by ITV Studios to the newly created role of executive vice president and director of consumer products, tasked with growing the reach of the broadcasters owned programmes.

Reporting to Maria Kyriacou, managing director of global entertainment, Randisis will aim to increase the value of the existing intellectual property portfolio for the commercial broadcaster in the UK and around-the-world, including This Morning and Coronation Street.

He will also head up a new consumer products team to leverage the intellectual portfolio of ITV Studios across DVD, licensed products, publishing and other activity.

Kyriacou, former senior vice president and international managing director for Nickleodeon and Viacom Consumer products, commented: “We are committed to becoming an organisation with the capability to reap maximum value from its existing and future intellectual property; both in the UK and internationally.”
