The Works welcomes new recruits

The Works, a full service agency in the north east, is ringing in the changes for the New Year with the appointment of two fresh faced recruits – former Robson Brown employee Chris Westcott and Emma Appleby.

Westcott has been brought on board as Head of Digital where he will oversee the launch of The Works new digital division, dubbed ‘The Works Live.’

Appleby meanwhile will become the firms Account Director, taking on responsibilities for one of the company’s key clients, Gentoo Group, as well as developing a fresh business strategy.

Barry Pollock, Director, said: "We felt the time was right to support our existing clients with digital services; now we can say hand on heart that we are truly a full service agency.

“With Chris' experience in the digital arena we are comfortable that these offerings will be supported by the same exceptional service and attention to detail that our clients have enjoyed over five years.

"Emma's industry knowledge, especially her experience in TV advertising and her planning capabilities, will be a great asset to us for both existing and new clients."
