Tennent’s, sponsor of Rangers and Celtic has launched a campaign to allow football fans to train on the club’s pitches, and pull on one of their jerseys for a one-off match.

The lager brand has launched the ‘could have been a player…’ campaign, through Material Marketing, offering fans to train at a bootcamp, play in the one-off match, or win a VIP day out, with access to the Tennent’s lounge.

Material has led the concept development for the campaign, as well as club liaison, event and PR delivery, while Whitespace has delivered the digital activation, with Newhaven working on above-the-line and Stand overseeing in-outlet recruitment.
