EDZ, the Cumbria-based performance clothing and accessories manufacturer, has undergone a full rebrand as it aims to break into the sports market.

Already a success in the motorcycle market, EDZ commissioned brand design agency Robot-food to bring the brand up to date in an effort to target outdoor sports enthusiasts with its high performance base layers products.

Harrogate's Robot-food has worked on new packaging, garment design and clothing embellishments, all aiming to open up new sales channels and different markets for the brand.

EDZ director James Tilleard said of the rebrand: “In the early stage of design Robot-food developed a concept for a total rebrand. This showed me how it could work across packaging, advertising, garments, even alongside brands in various sports categories, to leave me no doubt it would work.”

Meanwhile, Robot-food creative director Simon Forster said: “My background is in sports fashion, so it’s been an exciting project that’s right up our street. With years of experience stickering my various boards and bikes I wanted to create a desirable brand that would sit alongside the best in performance sports.”
