Brazen to PR Madame Tussauds Blackpool opening

Manchester PR agency Brazen has been appointed to promote the opening of a new Madame Tussauds in Blackpool.

Brazen won the brief from the Merlin Entertainments Group and the agency is now working on a campaign ahead of the waxwork attraction's opening in the spring.

Peter Burling, client services director at Brazen, said: “We are thrilled to be working with yet another Merlin brand and Madame Tussauds, like Blackpool, is a real British institution. The account promises to be real fun, with some great stories coming up, the real challenge will be deciding which of the team’s many ideas to kick off our campaign with.”

The new Madame Tussauds will be the first in the UK outside London and the twelfth to open worldwide. It will feature waxworks of TV stars, sporting heroes and musicians.
