Leeds agency MadeByPi has created the new global website for hit children's TV show Yu-Gi-Oh!

The Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise spans an animated TV programme broadcast across 80 countries and a range of trading cards, video games and other toys.

Its new site promotes the merchandise range and includes an exclusive members' area, downloadable wallpapers and screensavers, competitions and features on characters.

The launch of the new English version of the website coincides with Yu-Gi-Oh's tenth anniversary. MadeByPi is now working on German, Italian, Spanish and French versions.

"This has been a very exciting global project, working with client representatives across New York, Japan and Europe," said Karen Lewis, client services director at MadeByPi.

"We have created a rich, engaging space where fans can interact with the popular brand and fully immerse themselves in all things Yu-Gi-Oh!. Work will continue on the site to enhance the members’ area and to create the other four language versions over coming months.”
