Guest editors ready to take over The Drum website
The Drum is planning something a little different over the Christmas break as it opens up its website to some industry guest editors.

Figures from across the media and marketing industry have been handed the keys to The Drum’s online door and will each take a day to themselves to look back on 2010 and highlight what 2011 may bring.
Those involved include Pete Bastiman and Tom Richards, creative directors for BJL, Sera Miller, CEO of Material Group, Russell Townsend, managing director of Clusta, Neil Gow, brand manager for WD-40, Ian McAteer, managing director of The Union, Fraser Bradshaw, managing director of McCann Erickson Bristol, Gellan Watt, managing director of Thinking Juice, Rob Nicol, managing partner of PHD North, Kristal Ireland, digital marketing director for Welcome to Yorkshire, freelance creative team Barrie and Tim, Tony Foggett, CEO of Code Computerlove and D&AD president Simon Sankarayya.
Beginning this afternoon, each online editor will submit their views on differing subjects, although regular news may also appear depending on what occurs during the holiday season.
And if we don’t get the chance to speak to you over the next few days, The Drum would also like to wish its readers a very merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year, when it comes.
Here’s to a successful 2011 for all of you.
