Stella Artois launches Christmas iAd campaign

Stella Artois has become one of the first brands in the UK to utilise Apple’s new iAd mobile advertising network.

The Belgian beer brand is launching the festive themed campaign to target iPhone and iPod users, allowing them to interact with the firms parallel “Ice Lounge” TV commercial.

Amongst the goodies available exclusively to mobile viewers is a downloadable French language rendition of the soundtrack “the 12 days of Christmas.”

Handset owners will also see the brand’s heritage brought to life, including instruction on the 9 step pouring ritual for the perfect pint.

The iAd interacts with users directly within their current apps, whilst linking to Stella’s existing app, Le Bar Guide.
