SPAR UK launches online magazine

An online magazine has been launched by convenience retailer Spar ahead of Christmas.

Created by Stream Publishing, the online magazine aims to interact with consumers and provide readers with recipes, competitions, tips and advice, which will be sent to the retailer’s customer database of 27,000 people.

Adam Margolin, head of marketing support for Spar UK, said: “This magazine will help promote to our customers all the great online content we currently have on our site in a bite-size easy to read form.

“It then links back to more information directly on our website helping our customers where we can in the busy festive period.”

Margolin added that the two key objective within Spar’s digital strategy was to drive traffic and better engage with consumers.
