Thomson Reuters has hired Nation1 to run a social media campaign promoting the services of its Contact Law business.

The campaign is due to launch over Christmas and will feature tips on some of the most popular questions and topics surrounding employment law.

Nation1's work will be housed on a campaign-specific website and its law tips will be brought to life in three-minute videos filmed by fellow Glasgow-based firm BefourCreative.

A blog will provide more detailed advice and online PR will be used to spread the word about the campaign.

Nation1 will take to Twitter to target anyone tweeting about employment issues and unhappy workers.

Dan Watkins, founder and director of Contact Law, said: "We invest a considerable amount of money each month in online and offline and we are keen to see if the social media approach will deliver strong results."

The Contact Law work is one of two new wins for Nation1, which is also creating a new website for Thrive, the Scottish-based networking club.

The new site will allow members to connect with one another to share messages and opportunities.
